Linux 6.12 batman-adv / native Ethernet frame service, direct Ethernet-style links; no IP application, VPN underlay, WPA/MACsec or end-to-end security layer. Locally administered MAC addresses, local interface attachment and trusted local client; This is an L2 service boundary, not an IP application stack. Round118 witnesses: BATMAN_IV, native bonding enabled for F09, gateway mode off, network coding not credited; shared-code IV/V findings identified per cell.
