G03-YG: Yes

Rationale

The selected Ironwood pathfinder sends a lookup for the requested key through Bloom-guided tree multicast, accepts a signed path notification, and caches the resulting path. Forwarding selects among local peers using tree-path distance. Aggregate reachability information, local adjacencies and demand-driven path caches replace an obligatory enumeration of every final public key at every node.

Assessment method

Primary specification and pinned code review; no runtime experiment

Source context

Selected discovery and pathfinder mechanisms

Outstanding qualification

The numeric Yggdrasil destination and connected peer topology are supplied. Bloom false positives, query branching, cached paths and churn can still impose substantial costs or cause lookup failure. This is the pinned Ironwood composition, not a claim about every historical Yggdrasil design, arbitrary-name search or global scale.
