F38-RA: Yes
Rationale
A DIF provides communication to upper processes, which can themselves implement a wider DIF. Routing, transport and management policies belong to each scope, with internal addressing hidden from applications. Reassessment under revised F38: per-DIF administration and resource policies supply independent local transport conditions. Recursive nesting remains the RINA mechanism, not a requirement imposed on other columns.
Assessment method
Primary evidence for the selected composition; identify mechanism, scope and implementation limits
Source context
RINA project architectural documentation
Outstanding qualification
Documentary architectural credit for the declared RINA composition. IRATI is a reference implementation, but no release, policy configuration, executable integration or performance result is qualified here. Detailed linked QoS/congestion pages could not be fetched; the retrieved project overview states the credited mechanisms. Other RINA capabilities remain separately assessed.
