F36-SC: Yes
Rationale
With COLIBRI explicitly selected, an application requests and renews bandwidth through an extended SCION daemon. Reservation services admit the end-to-end request against segment capacity; participating ASes and the destination can refuse it. Accepted allocations are enforced through gateway policing and traffic monitoring.
Assessment method
Primary client-interface and reservation architecture review
Source context
I2P ECIES/I2CP specifications; COLIBRI CoNEXT 2021
Outstanding qualification
Architectural capability documented in the 2021 paper, sections 3.2-3.4 and 4.3. Requires participating infrastructure, available segment reservations, synchronized clocks and renewal. It is not a property of an unextended SCION UDP stack, nor a current deployment, interoperability or performance certification.
