Rationale
The selected composition exposes application flow allocation and SDU I/O over normal DIFs. Its bottom Ethernet shim supplies a carrier; it does not expose a selected transparent multi-hop Ethernet bridge to unchanged attached endpoints.

Outstanding qualification
