Rationale

The selected PRP stack carries PRP protocol units and E2E items over carriers. Using Ethernet as a carrier is not an Ethernet service for attached unmodified hosts. The selected wire and carrier specifications do not provide a multi-hop bridge transporting arbitrary endpoint Ethernet frames.

Outstanding qualification
