F33-NS: No

Rationale

Basic Nostr provides relay acceptance replies and retrieval of stored events, but NIP-01 specifies no contact-aware retransmission/resumption procedure for an interrupted transfer. WebSocket uses TCP; RFC 6455 section 7.2.3 describes reconnect backoff after abnormal closure, while TCP retains ordinary RTO-based recovery. These mechanisms do not supply the prolonged-contact-interruption adaptation required by F33.

Assessment method

Primary documentary assessment; no runtime test

Source context

Pinned primary specifications; selected-composition inference

Outstanding qualification

Relay storage, later REQ retrieval and application retry remain useful. An OK reply acknowledges relay acceptance, not eventual reader receipt; stored-event retrieval does not itself resume a partially delivered reliable transfer. No additional durable client outbox or recovery extension is selected. This No does not deny offline reading or recovery from ordinary disconnections.
