F33-BA: No
Rationale
The selected native L2 service forwards Ethernet payloads without an end-to-end reliable-transfer recovery contract. In v6.12, batadv_send_skb_to_orig frees a packet when no router is available; broadcast forwarding uses a bounded repetition counter. Neither path suspends acknowledged-transfer recovery until a later contact opportunity.
Assessment method
Pinned Linux v6.12 source and primary documentation; no runtime test
Source context
Selected BATMAN_IV/native Ethernet composition
Outstanding qualification
Broadcast repetitions, topology repair, fragment handling and the diagnostic throughput meter do not provide reliable delayed payload delivery. No TCP, LTP, durable-transfer application or special carrier recovery is selected. This is a source-level capability judgment, not a measured outage experiment.
