F28-BA: No
Rationale
In Linux v6.12, batadv_send_skb_to_orig calls batadv_find_router for the destination originator. The latter uses the learned router and, when bonding is enabled, automatically rotates suitable candidates. The payload-facing bat0 service and declared unicast headers provide no endpoint-selected intermediary sequence or constraint carried through the mesh.
Assessment method
Pinned Linux v6.12 source and primary documentation; no runtime test
Source context
Selected BATMAN_IV/native Ethernet composition
Outstanding qualification
Interface attachment, local algorithm/metric settings and automatic bonding remain available. They do not supply the endpoint path control required by F28 beyond selecting local access. Gateway mode is off in this composition. Diagnostic route recording is observation, not an enforced payload path; no added source-routing overlay is credited.
