F27-MT: No
Rationale
The selected firmware implements local power-state transitions driven by configured sleep durations, wake timers, received packets, power and user input. PowerFSM_setup and the Config.Power fields do not establish a peer offer/acceptance contract specifying when a transmitter must deliver to an available receiver. Local sleep and wake intervals therefore do not satisfy F27.
Assessment method
Pinned firmware source and primary documentation; no runtime test
Source context
Meshtastic selected firmware 8e6a88d06f44cad26f1e8d7cd402939ccacb9b4c
Outstanding qualification
This credits neither an absence of power-saving features nor measured energy use. Behavior depends on board and role; the selected ordinary CLIENT composition does not add a negotiated scheduling protocol. Administrative configuration of one device and wake on received activity are distinct from a bilateral availability agreement. Store-and-forward is disabled and is not a substitute for that agreement.
