SCION path exploration, registration and resolution supply forwarding paths. The selected IP/UDP/SCION/application-UDP composition has no receiver wake schedule or custodian arranging delivery at known listening times. Path availability is not coordination of an endpoint's sleep periods.

Outstanding qualification

SCION leaves intra-AS delivery to its deployment. No scheduled access technology or application delivery scheduler is selected, so its possible addition cannot be credited to this composition. The verdict does not imply that SCION endpoints must always remain awake.
