F24-RI: No
Rationale
The selected IPv6 IoT/RPL composition uses RFC 6775 address registration. Its section 5.8 permits hosts to sleep between host-initiated exchanges and retain a valid neighbor registration, but explicitly leaves caching traffic for sleeping hosts outside its scope. Registration Lifetime is not a receiver listening schedule. No particular scheduled IEEE 802.15.4 mode is selected.
Assessment method
Primary specification and pinned code review; no runtime experiment
Source context
RFC 6775 sleeping hosts and RFC 8180 TSCH boundary
Outstanding qualification
This verdict concerns the composition as listed, not all IPv6 IoT deployments. IEEE 802.15.4 is a family of link capabilities; citing it alone does not select TSCH, beacon-enabled scheduled reception or a particular power-save service. RFC 8180 section 4.1 supplies a concrete contrasting TSCH schedule with a shared active cell and inactive slots, announced in enhanced beacons. Selecting that binding would require explicit column qualification and reassessment, rather than silently crediting it to RPL. No runtime or energy measurement was performed.
