F24-NS: No
Rationale
NIP-01 REQ subscribes on a WebSocket connection and requests matching stored events. The since/until filters select event creation timestamps, not future receiver listening windows. Relays send matching updates on the active connection; the selected stack has no contract coordinating delivery with endpoint sleep periods.
Assessment method
Primary specification and pinned code review; no runtime experiment
Source context
NDN Interest semantics, CCNx and NIP-01
Outstanding qualification
A client may reconnect after waking and query retained events. That is receiver-driven retrieval rather than a known wake-time delivery arrangement. TCP buffering and retries do not supply the missing schedule. No push service, scheduled access layer or additional NIP is selected; relay retention is also not a guarantee that all events survive.
