F24-IP: No
Rationale
The selected IPv4/IPv6 datagram and ICMP composition provides packet forwarding and error/control messages, but no sender/receiver agreement scheduling delivery at endpoint wake opportunities. Retaining an address and refreshing neighbor state on wake does not provide the revised reception-coordination service.
Assessment method
Primary documentary assessment under revised criterion; no runtime experiment
Source context
Pinned PRP architecture worktree and IP RFCs
Outstanding qualification
No eDRX, IEEE 802.11 power-save service, scheduled link binding or application rendezvous protocol is selected. Such lower-layer mechanisms can carry IP and could qualify in an explicitly expanded composition; this No is not a claim that IP devices cannot sleep. Queuing and ordinary neighbor retries alone do not establish a known receive opportunity.
