F24-CX: No
Rationale
CCNx InterestLifetime specifies how long a request may remain pending; content expiry and cache-time fields constrain content validity or caching. They do not specify when a sleeping receiver will listen or obligate a forwarder to hold and send the response during agreed wake opportunities.
Assessment method
Primary specification and pinned code review; no runtime experiment
Source context
NDN Interest semantics, CCNx and NIP-01
Outstanding qualification
The selected CCNx/UDP/IP composition can retrieve cached objects after waking, but includes no coordinated access schedule, sleep-aware custodian or application wake contract. A long-lived Interest is a waiting interval, not a transmission window. This verdict leaves the benefits of caching and asynchronous retrieval intact.
