F24-AX: No

Rationale

Linux 6.12 NET/ROM queues frames subject to window credit and peer-busy state. Its timers cover retransmission, delayed acknowledgements, busy-state expiry and idle disconnection. These are flow-control and recovery mechanisms, not an agreed receiver wake schedule. The selected direct AX.25/NET/ROM composition adds no scheduled radio access service.

Assessment method

Primary specification and pinned code review; no runtime experiment

Source context

Reticulum Link, Ironwood peers and Linux NET/ROM

Outstanding qualification

A CHOKE indication stops sending while the receiver is busy; timer expiry or later acknowledgement is not advance coordination of a future listening opportunity. Packet-radio carrier access and retry timing likewise do not establish that coordination. A BBS mailbox or custom sleep-aware link/application is not selected. The finding is scoped to the selected Linux binding, not every extension or implementation of packet radio.
