F23-CX: Yes

Rationale

A bounded moving-consumer composition closes the earlier UDP-rebinding gap. Athena _UDPOpenConnection leaves the datagram socket unbound when no source is configured and _sendBuffer uses sendto, without connect or a device binding. Linux IPv4 UDP then performs route/source selection for each unconnected send. Keep the same numeric remote forwarder reachable through both ordinary access networks and change the local attachment through normal access provisioning, with a usable route throughout. The remote Athena listener demultiplexes the new source tuple into a new link automatically; PIT processing adds a new ingress for an existing Interest. The local name-prefix FIB, consumer retrieval window, content names and trusted producer key stay unchanged. Existing RTA Vegas timers re-express pending segments within the retained session. The source-level composition supports consumer mobility without application reconstruction or infrastructure prefix/AS authority.

Assessment method

Bounded architectural source composition; no new mobility experiment

Source context

Pinned Athena UDP/PIT, RTA retained retrieval and Linux IPv4 source-selection code

Outstanding qualification

This is a documentary make-before-break witness, not a newly executed end-to-end integration. Preserve the local consumer/forwarder IPC and processes; omit a fixed local IP/device binding. The far forwarder must remain reachable and accept the new UDP source. Athena marks the link erroneous for send failures other than EAGAIN/EINTR, so the witness excludes ENETUNREACH and other fatal socket errors during transition. It does not establish arbitrary outage recovery, producer mobility, changed remote-forwarder discovery, simultaneous mobility or lossless handover. Normal endpoint address/default-route provisioning is allowed; no infrastructure route changes or new CCNx FIB configuration occur at the move. CCNx has no selected authenticated consumer identity: preserved peer identity here is the content name/trusted producer key, not a newly invented client credential. Existing E03/signature-integration qualifications remain unchanged.
