F21-CX: Yes
Rationale
For the selected producer-to-consumer role, RFC 8569 defines signature verification and a KeyId derived from the public key. A consumer validating the signed object against its configured trusted producer key can retain that authenticated author-key binding with the content. This supplies a concrete protocol-level basis for the same item-authorship interpretation already credited to NDN and Nostr, without an additional application authentication exchange.
Assessment method
Documentary plausibility of producer-authorship binding; no executable qualification
Source context
CCNx signature semantics and retained implementation-gap review
Outstanding qualification
Architectural plausibility, not a qualified executable. Previously inspected schema-v1 code leaves SetSigner commented out in DictionaryEncode and lacks ECDSA in automatic suite conversion. Those integration gaps remain; this verdict does not assert that the pinned application works unchanged. No runtime, interoperability or security audit was performed. Credit authenticated content authorship only, not a live producer session, serving cache, consumer identity or civil identity. Mere KeyId matching is not verification. Require trusted-key selection, successful signature verification and retention of the validated binding; a parsed identifier alone does not qualify.
