F14-IL: No

Rationale

ILNP explicitly discusses location privacy, but its Locator Rewriting Relay is an optional deployment mechanism. The selected direct ILNPv6/TCP profile has no such relay or locator-obfuscation component; changing a NID provides a different identity-privacy property and does not hide the current Locator.

Assessment method

Specification review; unchanged selected profile

Source context

rfc6740.html#section-10.1; rfc6748.html#section-7

Outstanding qualification

This is not a denial that the broader ILNP architecture describes location privacy. Adding the optional LRR would require declaring that composition and reassessing its dependencies.
