Linux 6.12 has multicast tracker replication, but multicast mode selection admits IPv4/IPv6 payloads; other EtherTypes use classic broadcast flooding. The selected native non-IP application profile therefore lacks the qualified group-selective path. An explicit IPv4/IPv6 composition could receive a different decision.
