F10-BA: Yes

Rationale

The native broadcast path clones a frame onto eligible interfaces before any loss report. In a wired A-B-D / A-C-D diamond, B and C forward the same originator/sequence-number item towards D; D suppresses duplicates using its originator broadcast window. This gives redundant paths to the same receiver, not merely delivery to different recipients. Use Ethernet broadcast, gateway mode off, no common bridged backbone and an already converged mesh. Do not credit repeated transmissions on one wireless link or network coding. The claim is broadcast-specific and does not turn ordinary unicast into redundant transmission.

Assessment method

Pinned primary-source inspection and bounded configuration/topology inference; no execution

Source context

Linux v6.12 source; NET/ROM 1.3 manual where indicated

Outstanding qualification

Capture the initial A-B-D and A-C-D copies with matching originator/sequence fields before any retry. Verify one delivery at D and repeat with either branch blocked. Fix broadcast suppression/topology; no guaranteed diversity in arbitrary meshes.
