F08-TS: Yes
Rationale
Path selection beneath the stable Tailscale interface can change between direct UDP and DERP without changing the inner TCP endpoint addresses or resetting the host TCP connection. The same host connection can therefore continue across a supported path change.
Assessment method
Primary documentation and pinned source; explicit architectural inference
Source context
Tailscale addressing, control plane, magicsock and tailcfg
Outstanding qualification
Architectural inference supported by stable overlay addressing, documented connection migration and magicsock data-path switching. Credits a host TCP connection carried by the selected TUN service, not UDP as a connection. Both endpoints retain state; excessive interruption, key revocation or application timeouts can still terminate it. No lossless-handover test performed.
