E05-BL: Yes
Rationale
Nexedi reports using re6st since 2013 for transnational business applications. Its design documentation identifies Babel as the routing component that installs the routes used by re6st. This is external operational adoption of Babel for business connectivity.
Assessment method
Owner-approved adoption rule and primary operator evidence
Source context
Named operator account; reviewed 2026-10-25
Outstanding qualification
Nexedi develops re6st and contributes integration work; this credits an external user of Babel, not an independent Babel implementation. The deployment includes a registry and dynamic tunnels rather than the selected direct-adjacency IPv6 configuration. The retained production account was rehashed against round282-sources.json; a fresh web fetch failed. E05 uses the owner-approved adoption rule from revision 6.40. Deployment differences are disclosed rather than imported into the technical column. Independence is assessed from public operator attribution and role, not a private affiliation audit. No runtime, security, uptime or full-profile certification is implied.
