E04-IL: Yes

Rationale

Kadi, Suleiman and Jammoul measure ILNPv6 identifier-locator communication-cache size, kernel processing and packet service/drop behavior. Their comparison includes the independently developed St Andrews prototype, as well as their own modified prototype. The external measurements of the St Andrews baseline qualify: the network-layer ILCC is relevant to the selected ILNPv6 architecture even though the experimental workload uses UDP.

Assessment method

Reassessment under owner-approved independent-measurement criterion; no new execution

Source context

Performance Analysis of Identifier Locator Communication Cache Effects on ILNPv6 Stack (2021)

Outstanding qualification

Credit external evaluation of the St Andrews baseline, not independent validation of the authors’ own replacement policy. UDP socket behavior and cache growth are workload-specific. The study does not measure the selected TCP connection continuity, DNS discovery or TCP mobility; its numerical UDP results are not transferred to TCP. Exact replay artifacts are not required under revised E04.
