E04-CX: Yes
Rationale
Drescher, DeHart, Parwatikar and Crowley (ICN 2020) measure Metis e59f9c7 on bare-metal Open Networking Laboratory hosts. Section 3 identifies hardware, operating system and synthetic workloads; Sections 4–7 report forwarding, Interest/Data exchange, cache, FIB and latency results. These are executed measurements of CCNx forwarding, not only a model. Mosko’s Metis documentation identifies it as a CCNx 1.0 implementation, establishing the relevant shared mechanism.
Assessment method
Revised E04 documentary assessment of executed forwarding measurements
Source context

Outstanding qualification
The Washington University measurement team is distinct from the PARC/Marc Mosko implementation attribution; Crowley’s additional Cisco affiliation is disclosed. No exhaustive contributor/affiliation audit is claimed. The experiment uses custom packet generators and documented configuration workarounds, including the default-prefix issue. It does not establish the selected UDP binding or ECDSA/CRC32C verification costs, RFC conformance, current performance or global capacity. Synthetic workloads and the limited tested FIB sizes constrain generalization. No new benchmark or cross-protocol ranking is adopted.
