E01-IP: Yes

Rationale

The public June 2007 Moonv6 report records successful native IPv6 on-link and off-link communication in a multi-vendor network. Figure 3 identifies Linux, Windows Vista/Server 2008 and Mac endpoints; the printing section reports successful transfers to three printer vendors. These are distinct implementation families exchanging IPv6 traffic, rather than two instances of one codebase. Credit the demonstrated base IPv6 interoperability.

Assessment method

Primary documentary evidence review; no new protocol execution

Source context

Evidence checked 2026-10-15; versions and hashes in round234-sources.json

Outstanding qualification

The application demonstrations use TCP above IPv6; only their necessary underlying IPv6 exchange is credited here, not TCP as part of the selected IP stack. Exact Linux/Mac builds and packet captures are not supplied. This historical report does not certify every current extension, per-packet route rotation, PIM, BGP, privacy policy or the complete selected deployment. The separate SHIM6 experiment is not credited as plain-IP mobility.
