D04-ND: Yes
Rationale
ndn-cxx 0.9.0 provides per-user keychain configuration and ndnsec key-gen for additional identities, with ECDSA supported. The versioned producer example signs Data through KeyChain and explicitly supports selecting an identity/key/certificate independently of the Data name and network face. A producer on an already authorized local face and content prefix can use another locally controlled signing identity without adding host interface addresses or routes.
Assessment method
Documentary selected-stack classification; no new network execution
Source context
Official API, protocol and configuration documentation; retained origin bytes or explicitly labelled web extractions, 2026-10-15
Outstanding qualification
Credit producer Data-signing identity, not authenticated consumer identity or a live endpoint session. Keep the selected ECDSA profile and preauthorized content prefix; this does not grant arbitrary prefix registration, namespace ownership or consumer trust. Key/certificate distribution and trust-anchor acceptance remain separate. No extra IP face, GNS-like naming layer or newly executed NFD test is credited.
