D04-LP: Yes

Rationale

libp2p Peer IDs derive from locally held keys. The go-libp2p Identity option takes a private key independently of ListenAddrs and transport options. Separate logical hosts can therefore use separate keys on already provisioned IP/UDP access without assigning each identity another interface address or route. This matches the selected separate-key/store profile.

Assessment method

Documentary API and selected-profile analysis; no new network execution

Source context

Official API/specification and implementation documentation retrieved 2026-10-15; retained source digests

Outstanding qualification

One identity per host configuration is not one identity per machine: separate host instances are permitted. Use distinct ordinary socket bindings as necessary; no shared-address mutation is credited. Peer allowlists and connection gating still control acceptance. This is documentary capability evidence, not a newly executed multiuser or QUIC test.
