D02-PN: Yes
Rationale
Documentary plausibility on Linux: pinned prp-runtime exposes explicitly selected portable session/connection APIs with authenticated HS2 and protected E2E records over application-injected transport. Its documentation reports a component gate excluding PRP-specific kernel interfaces. libprp documents portable onion transforms and treats the PRP kernel module as optional acceleration. Combining these mechanisms with native Ethernet through stock Linux AF_PACKET provides a concrete module-free architectural path, rather than an assumption that the default kernel runtime is mandatory.
Assessment method
Documentary plausibility with explicit Linux carrier integration inference
Source context
Pinned PRP portable API and optional-module documentation; Linux socket manual
Outstanding qualification
This resolves architectural plausibility under the owner-approved standard, not availability of a complete supported executable. Carrier glue, selected 0x0202 adjacency/E2E integration, routing lifecycle and full endpoint operation without PRP kernel interfaces remain unqualified. The portable component gate is documentary evidence, not newly executed here. Stock Linux socket facilities and drivers must be enabled. Creating AF_PACKET sockets requires CAP_NET_RAW; this is not an unprivileged-runtime verdict. No change to D01, interoperability, performance or production-readiness findings.
