D02-BA: Yes
Rationale
The selected batman-adv is part of upstream Linux 6.12. A Linux 6.12 installation that supplies CONFIG_BATMAN_ADV can load its stock module without adding an out-of-tree module or rebuilding the kernel. D02 explicitly allows stock networking modules; an OS image omitting this feature is outside this witness.
Assessment method
Specification/source/dependency analysis; no new runtime execution
Source context
Primary documentation and explicitly selected composition; documentary review 2026-10-15
Outstanding qualification
Documented dependency finding only. No live carrier test, capacity result or universal OS/device certification; setup privileges remain separate.
