C07-RA: No
Rationale
The selected default SDU crypto policy compresses, adds sequence/MAC data, pads to the cipher block size and encrypts each submitted PDU. Its padding is deterministic block completion, not a selected traffic-shaping or cover-traffic defense. The declared forwarding modes do not add independent dummy traffic, mixing or deliberate timing obfuscation.
Assessment method
Native architecture and pinned SDU/RMT source inspection; no runtime or attack experiment
Source context
RINA recursive protection placement and IRATI default SDU crypto policy
Outstanding qualification
No for this explicit policy composition. Encryption and ordinary cipher padding alone do not establish a defense against observers correlating packet timing and volume. Recursive aggregation may combine flows but is not credited as a documented correlation-defense policy. No general impossibility for custom RINA policies, nor a measured attack-success claim.
