With local configuration and participant enrollment already specified, the native Ethernet-shim profile starts and resolves registered application names inside its DIF without external DNS. Tutorial 1 uses local configuration files and a Unix-domain management console; the selected stack includes no DNS-dependent IP shim. No DNS cache is required.
