C01-HP: Yes
Rationale
The selected HIP mobility extension keeps the Host Identity Tag as the communication reference while a host changes its IP attachment. LOCATOR_SET in UPDATE informs the peer of the new locator, with address verification before normal use. RFC 8046 describes both break-before-make and make-before-break movement without application address replacement.
Assessment method
Primary documentary reassessment; no runtime test
Source context
Selected routing and HIP specifications
Outstanding qualification
This covers an established association with one moving host and a reachable peer, using the selected RFC 8046 mobility procedures. It is not simultaneous mobility, automatic reachability of an unknown first-contact locator, or lossless handover. An operational alternative attachment and successful control exchange are required; no runtime test is claimed.
